A Visit from Mr. Noise

Many thanks to Alex Ross for swinging through the Queen City last weekend. Hope we didn't scare you too much, Alex. And let me know what you think of The Beastmaster so I can pass it along to everyone else who was at dinner Friday. (Oh my, there's a Wikipedia entry for The Beastmaster. Yippee.)

gosh! wish i could have been a fly on the wall ;-)

were you at the CSO concert, too, or on a different mission?

Sadly, I didn't make nearly enough CSO concerts this season (only 5). The last concert I saw was the Tüür-Bartók-Shostakovich program in mid-March. This grad school thing is a real damper on my social life. Next year should be better, though.

By the way, there is a 1976 TV film of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" that stars Marc Singer who is the Beastmaster. It's actually not that bad.
